Founded in 1993 by Hélder Mendonça in Almancil, at the time under the name Musculomania, the gym started its activity offering a unique space.
Over the years it has been resisting all challenges, growing and modernizing permanently. This growth is due to the family atmosphere, fun and companionship that has always reigned and which is very much linked to the founder's way of being.
With the big break that the Covid-19 pandemic caused in all gyms, ours was no exception and we had to stop the activity for some time. Taking advantage of the forced stop, Hélder decided it was time to completely remodel the gym, and in 2021 HelderGym was born: a modern gym with equipment from the best brands in the world, air conditioning and a space with all the conditions to receive those who are much more than customers — they are friends and even family.
HelderGym is proud to have clients who have been with us for 20 and even 30 years.
